What We Believe

Salvation from sin

The bible teaches that we are saved from sin. Matthew 1:21 says "And she shall bring forth a son and thou shall call his name Jesus for he shall save his people from their sins. Jesus Christ purpose for coming to the world was to save his people, those who would hear him from their sins. This is what he taught and commanded. He said "go and sin no more" in St. John 5:14 & 8:11; The Apostle teaches us the Christ is our example to follow and that we must walk in his step doing no sin. (I Peter 1:21). We were all born in sin and must be forgiven. Not only are we forgiven but we are kept free from the committing of sin willfully. More

Sanctification of the heart

Sanctification is the will of God according to I Thess. 4:3. It's for those who are saved from sin. Once you are saved from the committing of willful sins in your life, you are justified. You are free from those things that brought guilt and condemnation. Now you must be sanctified or purified. This purification takes place in the heart.  It is cleansed from the very carnal and depraved nature and root of sin through obedience to the truth. Jesus prayed that his church be sanctified in St. John 17:17 More

Unity of God's People

Unity is the togetherness of God's people not only in congregating in a building, but it is walking by the same rule in faith and Spirit. God's People are unified in "The Faith" There is One Faith according to the Apsotle Paul in Ephesians 4:5. and there is One Spirit. When we are sanctified we have the holy spirit dwelling within every heart and the Spirit is not divided so therefore we all have the same Spirit. There is no division, carnality, confusion or strife where there is unity. Where theres no unity, there is no sanctification. Jesus prayed that the church be one in St. John 17:11 & 21 More
